In Switzerland one is only sure from a height of 1,500 meters, because the ticks strike. Also walk with pleasure in the wood.

Like your albums of the nice parks. In the wood it is not easy to do clean photos.

Ticks are certainly a problem in all of the Midwest US parks we have visited. Both my partner and I got one on us on our last visit to Giant City. I ended up taking antibiotics against Lyme Disease. We plan to use plenty of repellent this year when we go.

Thanks for your kind words. Woods can be very challenging for photography. In some ways, my best work has been done in the earliest part of spring, before the foliage was fully developed.

Yes, this is not amusing. I may also walk in the wood. All over. Thus it is much more difficultly in summer. Does not hope that you is stung. This is misery! The small ticks.
