Hi Craig. I added a question in one of your post, and I wanted to forward it to you directly, in case you didn't see it:
Great post. After a few hiccups, like having to change the name of the downloaded swf file from player.swf, which was pretty trivial, right now, everything works with the exception of the Thumbnail for the video.
I followed your instructions, created the filename.wbv.thumb , and left it in the same folder with the rest of the jpgs, but when I create the album, the videos are assigned the generic movie icon. As a matter of fact, the index.html shows <img src="bpp-generated/movie_icon.j pg" instead of my thumb.
What am I doing wrong?

Did you try this bit?
If you want custom thumbnails for each movie, you can also create *.jpg thumbnail files and name them as follows: your-filename.wbv.thumb
