I am a retired field biologist and take pictures of animals, plants, and scenery for my one-time profession (now my hobby). Bird-watching, hiking, travel, observing nature and behavior of animals and plants (yes, plants), dance, and my grandchildren are my favorite subjects for photography.

I will be posting pictures of a Florida trip later - there are several nice pictures of spiders and their webs in that group. Also birds, plants, and other great stuff.
