Flex Slider and Carousel Skin. This produces a fully responsive image slider with all screen sizes. It is not designed for stand alone image gallery use but can be used in that way if preferred. It does not show videos or folders, Home page links, EXIF info, play music etc.

So why am I getting only a highly pixelated version of each image in the slider image?

Because possibly you have the wrong settings for image sizes? The skin doesn't automatically set your images sizes, you do in Jalbum' settings.

Also, please provide a link to your gallery. I can't possibly answer a question like this without any info on your settings, etc.
