- Description
Crossfading Slides. Validates to W3C as HTML 4.01 Strict & CSS level 2.1.
Options:
1. Slides and slideshow transition can crossfade or swap between images. Navigation (previous/next) will also cross-fade or can be forced to 'swap' images.2. Slide show time interval can be set, and also to allow visitors to change it or not.
3. Slide shows can be set to automatically start on 'slide' page load (not on the large image slide pages).
4. Slide shows can be set to automatically stop after all slide images have been shown consecutively (also on the large image slide pages).
5. Slide and original/hi-res images can be displayed in a slide show too.
6. Either or both the slides and larger images can be set to be scaled down to fit the browser window (re-scaled if window is resized). The amount of down scaling can be set within the skin.
7. Large images can be shown in a slide page (html) or as a jpg image.
8. Exif information can be toggled from hidden to visible. The visibility state can be toggled during a slide show - if visible then the following 'slides' will show it unless toggled off.
9. No Flash! Just javascript and CSS.
10. Hidden folders are not included in the album-wide slideshow, but do have their own slideshow option - as do all sub-folders.

Image ordering and linking now work with any setting. Option to allow visitors to adjust timing added. Option for Image resizing added, images can be scaled down to fit the browser window (no upscaling).
Prepared for online and console use.

I'm sorry for the confusion caused by the name I chose for the skin, it was to keep it brief rather, than say, calling it Crossfading SlideShow. I'll have to add better navigation to all of my skins, hopefully in the next update. The white flash may be inherent in the way the JavaScript is coded, it is, for the most part, my own routine. Using jQuery would probably fix it, but I'll try and fix it too.

Why doesn't the sample album crossfade? Ah, I looked again and the SLIDESHOW crossfades. That's not what I was led to believe from the name. Very nice start for a skin, but the simple functionality of using arrow keys to progress through slides and clicking on the image to advance is necessary these days. I think those are simple features that anyone expects from any gallery. One more suggestion - see if you can get rid of the annoying "FLASH" of white screen between each image.
