It's characterized by rugged coasts and lush temperate rainforests. Tofino is situated just north of the National Park on the tip of the Esowista Peninsula facing Clayoqout Sound. Together with its sister town 40 km to the south, Uchuelet - it makes a popular destination for nature lovers, whale watchers and fishermen - or anyone seeking close encounters with Pachamama.
