About the artist: Patricia grew up in the Santa Ynez Valley near Santa Barbara, California where she gained an early appreciation for the beauty of nature which surrounded her. Coming from a long line of accomplished artists (great grandmother, mother and sister), she developed her own eye for the essential spirit of the nature she loves.

Patricia started photography during her travels in the Peace Corps in Nigeria and later in graduate studies in Chile. Now, living in San Diego, her children grown, she devotes time and artistic talent, informed by years of transformational work, to her passion for photography.
