Min. jAlbum Version

Tiger skin is the successor of the popular Turtle skin, featuring responsive layout and inherited numerous features from Photoblogger skin too.

IMPORTANT! Please read this:

Local preview:
Testing the Local album (Preview) does not work in some browsers with the default settings. This is because Tiger is based on a database (JSON format) to which the access from local HTML files is limited, due to security reasons. jAlbum's built-in browser works, however. If you want to test in Chrome please read this sticky:

Switching from Turtle:
Please note, as Tiger is based on a different language than Turtle, the function calls has changed too. Custom pages therefore might carry old code from Turtle skin, which causes errors.
Install the tool from here: to fix the old HTT files - if you had one - after importing a Turtle album into Tiger!

v1.3.4 has a problem with the image count (won't display). Reinstalled 1.3.2 and all is well.

Amazing new skin! One little suggestion I would like to see: Under Images, Place Thumbnail Captions set As Tooltip. If you enable this, thumbnail captions are permanently displayed below the thumbnails in Mobile view. Would be nice to have a toggle to disable Thumbnail Captions in Mobile view, so it looks clean on both mobile and Desktop.

Thanks for the suggestion. Later I might add such option. I must admit I prefer the "Below" option even on desktops. The "Tooltip" option was kept only because of Turtle compatibility,

Hmm, you are right, below actually does look decent on the desktop view, i think I might switch to that!

Awesome skin Laca! Is there a way to create spacing between different sizes in the shopping cart? I offer my clients the option to buy full price or on a payment plan "Art @Home". Thx, Tim Artist

I see, that's a really long options list. Unfortunately you can't allow decoration elements between the real options, because PayPal rejects them anyway as invalid option. And you can't style (add borders) to select box elements in HTML either.

Hi Laca, As already mentionned many times below, wonderful skin ! Quick question, can we have the settings (export) of the one present in the sample/example above ? Thanks in advance

Hi Laca, Tiger is a wonderful skin, I like it. Thank You! Now I have created for the first time an album with folders, and I found a [very little] problem: The album consists of 10 folders as second levels, no content outside these folders. I activated the Zip-download. And therefore each of these folders has Zip file of its content and a appropriate download link in the folders theme image. But, there is an additional download link in the top level theme image of the album. This link is void – there is no overall Zip file [That's good, of course, in most cases it should be too large]. My workaround is to edit the final index.html and delete/comment out the appropriate line. A solution would be very nice, maybe a selective switch in the preferences, I don't know … Wolfgang
