Releases

5.2.0 28.01.2012 (current)

A bug in IE fixed for the Search Function and improved Menu rendering and sizing. Changed the social icons to include Facebook and Twitter, not just the Share button. Now the Browser version check can be turned off for those that actually still like IE6,7,8 and the Menu visibility function is now an option to include or not.

5.1.0 26.01.2012

Updated ImageFlow to use Jalbums XMP keywords in its Dynamic search. Now, when you search for an image, a small thumbnail is generated in the search box for each image found and saved. You can click on this saved "mini" thumb and the gallery will flow to that Image. Improved addthis social networking icons.

5.0.0 20.01.2012

Improved and rewritten version. Now Themeable with JQueryUi Themeroller, Dynamic Search option, Shopping cart, Image Description and EXIF info popups, Five different LightBox choices, Social bookmarking, Top-Bottom-Side menu options, Google Font option.

4.1.0 11.08.2011

Multiple bug fixes. Updated javascript to (hopefully) fix reflection rendering bug when page first loads on some machines.

4.0.0 24.01.2011

A brand new version of ImageFlow, Version 4!
This version is been completely rewritten and now utilizes Yossi Kiolesnicov's jQuery LightBox, YoxView integrated into Sebastion Kutsch's ContentFlow script. New features include an integrated FooterBar containing the navigation menu, Social Media links, and options for a user configured About Page as well as an Ajax powered Contact page. A Web based HTML editor is included to incorporate your own information into the About page. The Lightbox now only opens when the center image is clicked, and the movement of the Lightbox image previous and next buttons are linked to the previous and next movement of the ImageFlow. The Lightbox has integrated buttons for Print and Download and EXIF info can be included as well. Gallery page colors are user configurable as well as an option for any image to be used as a page background. It has been tested in Internet Explorer 7 and 8 ( IE 6 is not supported - time for those users to upgrade), FireFox, Safari for Mac and Windows. Since this is a new version I appreciate any bug reports! ( I am primarily a Mac user so any IE issues found will really help me!)

3.2.1 20.02.2010

Fixed a problem with changing the ImageFlow caption font color.

3.2.0 19.02.2010

ContentFlow javascript updated to version 1.0.2. Some changes in the CSS and added a checkbox optioon to have the Slideshow buttons appear in any type of ImageFlow gallery.

3.1.0 15.02.2010

Fixed a few bugs and cleaned up some issues with the javascript.
Please note that, on a Windows PC, files named DS_Store will appear within the Jalbum Skin folder. DS_Store (Desktop Services Store) are hidden files created by Mac OS X to store custom attributes of a folder and unfortunately are included in the Zip file.

One other important note. When showing comments in the ClearBox lightBox it is important to not use certain symbols since they will break the Javascript. Comments can be disabled, but if you use them, one must use HTML to make the symbols < > " ' & or just not use them at all in the comments. Unfortunately trying to paste the HTML version of these symbols for your info into this text will not work, since the html is converted to the actual symbol!! I have included the instructions in the skin preferences.

3.0.0 14.02.2010

Version 3 now uses ContentFlow, a flexible CoverflowTM / ImageFlow like flow written in javascript, which can handle any kind of content. It supports all new and old major and not so major browsers. It's distributed under the MIT License.
CoverFlow offers many visual options including "slideshow", "carousel", "circle", "stack", "gallery", "gallery2", "roundabout","vertical", "waterwheel" and "wave".

There is also an option to include a LightBox popup window, using ClearBox, for expanding the images. It can show individual images, image galleries and other content including Flash, Quicktime, Windows Media format, HTML, inner content, etc.
Use of Clearbox for private purposes is free. If you would like to use it on commercial pages, please contact the developer, George Krupa, at http://www.clearbox.hu/index_en.html.

2.1.0 06.07.2009

Updated the Mootools javascript libary. Now one needs only a single click on the image for the lightbox to popup and also added a second lightbox viewer option.

Best to ask support questions by a message or in the Forums rather than as a comment. Unfortunately, I would need more info to answer a question like I can not click on an image etc.

Well it looks like I spoke too soon. The freezing is back. I am using a PC with Windows Vista 32 bit and using the infamous IE 8.

Well I worked on this some more and here are the results. I managed to finally get the 4.0 version installed. I downloaded the skin to my computer and dragged it into the jalbum open program. There is no freeze up with this version and now the 3.2.1 version does not freeze either. So hopefully the problem is solved and maybe this info will help to determine the possible cause in the first place. In any event thank you for this great skin. I love it!

Thanks for the reply. I can't figure it out and I think that you are correct. Another issue I am having is that I am unable to install the 4.0 version of this skin. I keep getting a message saying that the skin is already installed.
