- Beschreibung
The Annotated Album skin produces an album in which arbitrarily long descriptive information associated with an image is displayed in a scrollable "annotation" area alongside the image. The description is stored as an HTML file and thus can be formatted and can include links, lists, tables, etc. Image descriptions can be prepared independently, or they can be entered or updated during album generation, allowing you to supply a heading/title for each image (which will also be used as its index page thumbnail caption). Version 3.1.2 (4/9/09) adds control of description width to the Annotated Album page of the Album Settings option.

Version 3.1.1 (4/7/09) eliminates the old way of specifying a title or description for an album; we now rely on the JAlbum machinery on the General page of the Album Settings option instead of using the Annotated Album page of the Album Settings option.

Version 3.1 (3/31/09) incorporates some changes to accommodate JAlbum version 8.1 (using iframes, instead of frames, in order to support widgets). Also, it will regenerate the description (from heading and body text files) if the description html file has been deleted from the output directory; thus you can force the description to be updated if you have changed the heading or body text files outside of JAlbum.

The Annotated Album skin, version 2.3 (thru version 2.3.3), has the following enhancements: 0. allows users to itemize the image descriptions they want to edit as the album is generated and shows a page with both image and description when someone links to just the description (e.g., via Google); 1. adds support for importing JAlbum-style comments (entered from the Edit tab) or descript.ion comments (from ACDSee, STGThumb or Fookes Album Express, e.g.); 2. improves the handling of images not in output directory; 3. allows users to specify that image and description files should be copied to the output directory and attemps to keep the buttons frame and description frame from becoming too narrow when the browser window is fairly small.
