Get updated in the wonderful world of jAlbum

Lots of photographers out there edit their images in some way before they show them off to the world.  There's certainly no shame in that!  Not everyone advertises the fact, however.

A search for "Photoshop" showed me that some people are proud of their Photoshop creations or manipulations and aren't afraid to admit it!

My untrained eye often can't see the difference. It's amazing what people can do with editing tools these days. Have you tried the filter and editing tools in Jalbum yet? It might not be photoshop, but there are lots of useful tools there for making your albums. And Jalbum never harms your original photos on your hard drive (unless you choose to "export them").

i don't have a problem with a photo being "photoshopped". unless, of course, it is being presented as the absolute truth. i don't think there are any rules in art, but photojournalism is different. typically, i only do the basics: crop, channel mixer to convert to black and white, histogram adjustment, and some sharpening. some of the albums on here are truly wonderful. and photoshop (or similar programs) can help the viewer see what the photographer sees.
