jAlbum homeMost Digital Photo frame are pretty basic with a limited memory at about 64 MB to 1 GB for you to store your photos. These frames allow you to transfer your photos by either connecting it to your digital camera or your computer.
The more advanced models have a wifi connection and are more exiting. These frames can read information straight off the Internet. Some use true browsers for this but the general solution is to get photos by RSS feed. If you’re not familiar with RSS, it is a technology used to subscribe to different types of data, like news or photo albums by automatically downloading them to a computer.
If you published your album with Jalbum 8.0 or later versions you automatically have a RSS feed for your album and therefore it should work in a digital photo frame. Neat huh?
Imagine you giving a photo frame to your mother with a link to your photo album. Every time you update it with new photos from her grandchildren or images from your life they will appear in her home!
Go ahead and get a wifi enabled digital photo frame for your family, club or customer and allow them to subscribe to your life.

My mother does not give a hoot about wifi and she cares even less about a monthly subscription fee. She wants to know why a photo created in a $1000 slr at a resolution of 4000x3000 is displaying at 640*480 and what jalbum is doing about it so she has more room for more images on her 128MB sd card. And she wants to know why I can't just send her a simple zip file of a jalbum slides folder with the reduced sized images.

When you are viewing your Jalbum you should see a RSS symbol in the address field of your browser. Clicking that takes you to the URL of the Media RSS for your Jalbum. That's the address you should enter into the digital frame (the ones that support Media RSS). Try it out in a store before you buy!
